Background:
I have been working with computers and technology for well over 24 years now. I am actively working as a Systems Engineer for one of the largest financial companies in the U.S. and have operated my own computer support and repair service for well over 10 years now as well.
Recently I was asked if I could or would repair a laptop computer if it was shipped to me. I first hesitated but then thought about it and agreed. I mean after all I ship out full size servers and desktops all around the U.S.of A all the time and can't think of the last time I had ANY issues. I realized then that this was simply a great opportunity to expand my services to the small business and home office community outside of South Orange County CA. In Fact most service calls require the pc to be removed from the location and the data backed up then a full repair or cleaning performed. As a precautionary measure I like to have at least a 12 hour run time to validate no re-infection or re-occurrence of the problem is found.
It was all this that made me wonders if anyone else out there could use some help and maybe be interested in my services via the mail service. Now only a few months later not only has a demand for service been seen but I have enlisted the help of other well trained and currently practicing technicians to assist me in the repair and restoration of both Home and small busness computers a like. With a ever growing client list and no end in sight I am happy to be able to offer this service to all the small guy's out there who can't afford to hire a technician like me full time just to remove a virus or repair a computer from virus damage.
For many the thought of having someone come over to their home or office is too much, between schedule an appointment and dealing with the technician, it can be over whelming. Not to mention rescheduling or canceling any appointments to accomidate the repair geeks schedule.
